Rooted is an 11-week discipleship program and a catalyst for life-change. It provokes questions and conversations and group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in Godâ€™s story.

Registration is easy! This session there are two options for participation. You can register to attend on your campus or attend online on Mondays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Please note that the launch (May 2) and celebration (July 18) will be on Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Registration will close Sunday, April 25, at 11:59 PM and we will be skipping May 31 due to the holiday. The cost this session is $50 per person to go through the course, which includes all sessions, your workbook and t-shirt. This breaks down to less than $5 a week! We understand emergencies come up, and you may need to cancel your Rooted registration. You can cancel your registration and receive a full refund up until Monday, May 17 at 11:59 PM. No refunds will be given after this date.

How will my Rooted group be chosen?

Our Rooted team will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10-14 people. We group by age, marital status, and life stage. We form groups of married couples, singles, women, men, and young adults. These groups ultimately depend upon the demographic of those who register. A substantial amount of prayer and thoughtfulness goes into creating groups which we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate all friend or leader requests.

What is the difference between Rooted and Life Groups?

Rooted is the on-ramp to Life Groups. Your Rooted group at the end of the 11 weeks becomes your Life Group, and we strongly advise that you go through Rooted before joining an open Life Group.

Q: Where will my Rooted group meet?

Rooted is offered across all campuses in person as well as online. On campus groups will meet at their specific campus and online groups will meet over Zoom. The only exception is for the in person launch and celebration, where all in person groups will meet at Gilbert (May 2 & July 18 from 4:00-6:00 PM). On campus groups are asked to wear masks during their meeting.

Rooted is a catalyst for life-change through discussion in a small group environment, a safe space for biblical exploration, and practical learning experiences. The weekly readings will teach you what it means to be a disciple of Jesus through Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity, and service.

Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it will be worthwhile for you to invest in the entire process. The 11 weeks are a cumulative experience, so we ask every participant to attend every meeting.

What if I can't afford the participation fee?

We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted registration fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to support you if that is your current situation. Please click here to fill out the Rooted Scholarship Application.

Can I facilitate a Rooted group?

Rooted Facilitators get a front-row seat to something remarkable – God transforming lives. Rooted leaders must have graduated from Rooted. Please email Groups@Centralaz.com if you are interested in facilitating.
